No. RTM uses patient-reported outcomes through the Active SOS mobile app — no FDA-cleared device required. For RPM billing, patients can use existing wearables (Apple Watch, Omron blood pressure cuffs, Dexcom). We can discuss what applies to your patient population in your demo.
Can chiropractors bill Medicare for RTM?+
Not for Medicare directly — DCs are excluded from billing RTM codes to Medicare. However, commercial insurance and Workers' Comp pay 130–200% of Medicare rates, and those are the dominant payers for chiropractic injury and rehab cases. This is actually better economics than Medicare for most chiro practices.
